The temperature is rising on the Stamp Duty debate (Amendment) Bill 2013 (the 'Double Stamp Duty” / 'DSD”). The government has dug in as criticisms abound. Is there a way out for Hong Kong? Our expert panelists will debate the merits of bouquets and brickbats that have been levied by this targeted taxation.
The DSD’s latest state of affairs, potential outcome and ambiguities will be discussed. This debate is being jointly presented by The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, The British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
