2014 Global Human Capital Trends and China Data Analysis
F irst 15-20 minutes is for networking Sandwiches and beverages included Hosted by the China Business Committee and Human Capital Committee Deloitte recently released Global Human Capital Trends 2014 Report to illustrate the new abilities that HR need in today’s business situation, according to the feature, Deloitte’s report is based on interviews with 2,500 business and HR chiefs worldwide, while only one in four senior executives rated their HR teams as capable of delivering excellent or good capabilities. Respondents said actions were needed to tackle the human-capital challenges faced by organizations, including leadership (86%), retention and engagement (79%), HR reskill (77%), etc.
One of the most important takeaways from this research is the fact that doing more is not enough. Today companies have to manage people differently – creating an imperative to innovate, transform, and reengineer human capital practices. Deloitte believes the real challenge for business and HR leaders today is to ask: What are we doing today to get in front of these trends? How do we make them work for us, rather than against us?
