Many investors in Hong Kong are looking to invest in overseas properties.  The United States is a country that is experiencing a significant increase of interest of foreign investors. Chinese have become the largest group of foreign buyers of US property by sales volume.  These investors have to consider several factors when evaluating a purchase of a US property: demographic changes, liquidity, appreciation levels, rental yields, tax implications and many others.

At this lunch event, you will learn about the macro-economic factors affecting the US real estate market, trends in real estate prices, appreciation and rental yields in different American cities and the different tax liabilities during holding and sale of the US property.
