China’s Draft Foreign Investment Law: Revolutionizing the Foreign Investment
8:00-9:30am . Last week the PRC Ministry of Commerce released a draft Foreign Investment Law (the 'Draft Law") for public comment during the consultation period which ends on February 17, 2015. The Draft Law proposes to replace the current foreign investment regime with a new system and seeks to clarify the legal status of VIE structures. If adopted, the Draft Law will have a significant impact on existing and future foreign investments in China.
