Jessica Rivas is the Business Development Manager for Good World Solutions where she helps clients build transparency across global-supply chains through web and mobile technologies. Working with Fortune 500 companies, global auditing firms, and progressive NGOS, GWS has reached over 168,000 workers and farmers through its flagship service—Labor Link—connecting companies directly to the people making their products through mobile.
Jessica has over 10 years of client service, most recently as a sustainability consultant to a nonprofit focused on sustainable retail and manufacturing, Save the Garment Center and for the first Fairtrade coffee company in South Africa, Bean There Coffee Company, including developing a sustainable business model to improve the lives of small-scale African coffee farmers.
Previously, she advised and represented clients as a lawyer. During her legal career, Minnesota Law & Politics named Jessica Rising Star for four consecutive years, an honor bestowed on the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40.
Jessica holds an MBA with a focus on CSR from ESADE Business School in Spain. She also received her JD from William Mitchell College of Law and a BA in English with Honors from the University of Michigan.
