8:00-9:30am. For more than two decades, Gallup has been at the forefront of helping companies create workplaces that attract and engage talented employees. Join Gallup's Managing Partner for Asia, Larry Emond, as he presents Gallup's most recent discoveries on what drives highly engaged workplaces. This session will uncover the disparity between employees with high and low manager talent, and how a strengths-based approach to people development is gaining popularity as an effective means of attracting and retaining talented leaders, managers and employees in the Asian region.
 
Mr. Emond will begin with a review of Gallup's State of the Workplace research for Asia, including how the entire region overall lags behind global levels of workplace engagement. He will then describe interventions that Gallup has found to have the most success in significantly increasing employee engagement and will provide insights to those companies who have achieved very high levels of engagement in the region.
 
Mr. Emond will also share findings from a recent Gallup study on keys to developing senior leaders in the region.
