The economic and urban development of the Pearl River Delta over the last 25 years has been phenomenal.  What role has Hong Kong played, what are the trends and what role will Hong Kong play in the future?  This talk will examine the economic and spatial development of the Pearl River Delta, consider economic and planning policy, both in the Mainland and in Hong Kong, specifically HK2030+, and provide insights into Hong Kong's future role and position.
