Bitcoin is a de-centralised and somewhat anonymous digital currency based on peer to peer technology. Bitcoin has been touted as either the solution a number of the world's payment and financial industry problems while others believe it is just a fad or bubble like the tulip bubble or a giant ponzi scheme.

What is bitcoin exactly and how could it potentially change financial markets as we know them today? What role have the Chinese had in the development and growth of bitcoin and in the wake of PBOC regulation, what is the future of bitcoin in China?
In this lunch session of AmCham Hong Kong, Zennon Kapron will give a brief presentation and answer your questions about one of the most hotly debated topics in the market today.
