Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) last year issued an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting Guide, with the intention to elevate this from a recommended practice to a compliance requirement for Hong Kong-listed companies by 2015.
ESG Reporting has evolved over the past 10 years as a de facto requirement for a certain size and stature of company in most of the world. The trend has been driven by demand for relevant, timely and accurate information from a wide range of stakeholders – from employees, investors, community, regulators and the government.
With many listed companies unsure how to begin the journey towards ESG compliance, Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong), a leading ICT provider specializing in document management as well as a certified carbon verifier, has taken the lead to educate, counsel and provide the necessary tools towards implementation.
In this AmCham speaking event, Debby Chan, Director of Global Services Business of Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong), will share her views on ESG, focusing on the environmental aspect of the ESG framework, as well as share her recommendations to companies embarking on the path to sustainability.
