Barry Tong   is a partner of advisory services at Grant Thornton Hong Kong Limited, a member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd. Barry specializes in transaction advisory services. He has over 17 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction supports, recovery and reorganization, forensic investigation, assurance and initial public offerings. Prior to joining, Mr. Tong was a principal of corporate finance in an international accounting firm. He had also worked as a manager in the Financial Advisory Services Department in a Big Four firm. Mr. Tong has completed over 70 due diligence and transaction advisory engagements in Hong Kong and China over the past five years. He has professional experience in a wide range of industries, including consumable and industrial products, health care, energy, security solutions, logistics, luxury goods, entertainment, education, banking and securities, construction and hotels, telecommunication, airline, information technology, media, food and beverages. Mr. Tong holds an MBA degree and is a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Mr. Chan's expertise focuses upon tax due diligence and transaction-related tax advisory work, including pre-deal structuring and post-deal integration tax services. He also specializes in cross-border tax advisory and has extensive experience in advising on suitable investment structures and vehicles for multi-national companies investing in the PRC, and for PRC companies investing overseas. He has previously stationed in Shanghai for five years and advised on many domestic companies in their offshore acquisitions. William is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Chan is also a Certified Tax Adviser (The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong).
