First 15-20 minutes is for networking Sandwiches & beverages included
Hosted by the Taxation Committee
China's need for ethics in business and government is stronger today than ever before. Yet, while Chinese government and business leaders are eager to acquire technology from the West, they are reluctant to embrace foreign values. One solution developed by William Keli'i Akina, Ph.D. is a unique fusion of ancient Chinese philosophy and research into best practices in Western management science.
This presentation will impart practical knowledge about how to lead and manage ethically in the East-West global context. Dr. Akina and his team have presented their work at numerous universities in Asia, including Peking University, Fudan University, Seoul National University, and China-Europe International Business School as well as business corporations in Beijing, Shanghai and elsewhere. Dr. Akina, president of Grassroot Institute, is a philosopher who lectures in Asian and American universities.
