12:00-1:45pm.  Ksenia Duxfield-Karyakina, Google Regional Public Policy Manager covering APAC, Middle East, Africa and CIS will talk about Google tools and approach to protecting copyright on the web and how YouTube and other Internet platforms help content majors and individual creators grow revenues across different sectors in the region.
 
The presentation will be focused on:
copyright economy and culture of innovations in IP globally and in the region; overview of Google's policies and tools designed to fight piracy on the Internet across different platforms and services (Search, YouTube and Content ID, Notice-and-Takedown procedures); new digital business models and monetization on the web: what benefits Internet platforms bring to the content industry & where we can work together to boost innovations in the market of digital content; Google Cultural Institute and its projects aimed at digitizing film & history archives; creativity and content online: stats and case-studies.
First 15-20 minutes is for networking
