Consumers around the world are moving to e-commerce and nowhere is this more true than in China, where e-commerce already accounts for over 10% of consumer purchases. No surprise that China's leading e-commerce company, Alibaba, has sales greater than eBay and Amazon combined.
The ability to use e-commerce to reach millions of consumers and immediately develop a national marketing footprint holds strong appeal for U.S. companies who frequently are challenged by the obstacles in traditional distribution channels in China. However many U.S. and foreign companies also find the technical and regulatory challenges of e-commerce daunting.
In this presentation, Frank Lavin will walk through the challenges and opportunities of China e-commerce so that companies large and small can make this opportunity work.
