Committee meeting hosted by Susan Reingold, Chair, Communications & Marketing Committee
Dear Communications & Marketing Committee Members,
Please join our next Committee Meeting on Monday, December 12 from 12:30-2:00pm at the AmCham office .

'Creative' is the most popular adjective in the design, marketing, and communications world. Everybody wants to be a creative individual, find a creative solution, or find a good book on creativity. But what does being creative really mean? And how can we activate our own creativity?
All children are creative as Pablo Picasso once pointed out. The challenge is to remain creative. Sir Ken Robinson, a 20th century thinker in the development of innovation and human resources, claims that by the time kids became adults, most have lost their capacity to be creative.
They have become frightened to be wrong – they get educated out of creativity.
Creativity's main goal is to question old ways and to find new and better ones, which is not always fitting to the world we live in; conformity and creativity run in separate directions. We are rarely taught about creativity, despite its importance to our lives. Yet the reality is that creativity is an applied, discipline that can be taught and that has been taught for decades.
In our next Communications & Marketing Committee, Petra Loho, Director of Blue Ocean Marketing, will take us on an interactive journey to explore how we can become be more creative that will include some practical creative methods and systems that can easily be applied back in the workplace.

We look forward to seeing you there.
Best regards,
Susan Reingold
