Hong Kong, typically at the fore in providing support for commercial activity and dispute resolution, remains somewhat behind other jurisdictions in its current approach to such agreements. Nevertheless, change is on foot, particularly in the context of arbitration.
Join us at this lunch time seminar to understand exactly what third party funding is, in what circumstances it can be used in proceedings in Hong Kong - and by local companies overseas - as well as considering the reasons why third party funding may be of use in a dispute situation.
