8:00-9:30am. Given the increased focus on changes in regional manufacturing patterns, domestic consumption and intra-Asian trade, we've asked Mr. George Yeo, Chairman, Kerry Logistics Network (KLN), to kindly provide us with some high-level insights on recent and anticipated trends. As a large regional logistics provider, KLN is uniquely positioned across the manufacturing, domestic distribution and export space and a great barometer for regional activity. Established in HK in the early 1980s, KLN has evolved along with the demands of their multinational customers, offering integrated logistics/transportation solutions around the globe.
Over the past few years, KLN has increased its presence in Southeast Asia, investing in domestic express/distribution operations as well as traditional logistics facilities (most recently within Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar).
