On behalf of  Chairman Walter Dias  and  President Richard Vuylsteke , we are pleased to announce that the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (AmCham HK) will hold its annual  Washington DC Doorknock  on  June 13-15, 2016.  Optional briefings with specific industry focus and think tanks will be available on June 16, 2016.
We sincerely hope to receive an expression of interest from you and/or your colleagues for this mission to meet with interlocutors from :

Projected Agenda
The strategic importance of US' participation in global and regional trade including Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), US-ASEAN Relations, African Growth & Opportunity Act (AGOA) and US-China bilateral investment treaty (BIT) The role of Hong Kong as a regional and global platform, and important issues facing the American and international business community based in the Asia Pacific Other industry-specific issues covering financial services, tax, apparel and footwear, agriculture, and others (open to suggestions)
A Call for Delegates
We wish to invite all AmCham HK members who are interested to submit their name to be considered for the delegation.
As the number of delegates for the Doorknock is limited, delegates will be selected based on the following criteria:
Understanding of the issues member companies face Ability to convey, as a globally or regionally based executive, the experience of a U.S. or international company in Hong Kong, China and the Asia Pacific region Ability to represent the Chamber as well as their own industry/sector Prior involvement with and/or leadership in AmCham HK

Please complete   the  Expression of Interest Form  and submit by  April 15, 2016 (Thursday) . A final shortlist of delegates will be announced by the end of April.

Sponsorship Opportunities Available
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, including on-the-ground transportation, and catering for breakfast, lunch, cocktail reception and/or dinner. Exposure will depend on the level of sponsorship. Please find general sponsorship entitlements below.

Delegates will be responsible to pay for their own expenses including airfare and hotel.  AmCh am HK will recommend a designated hotel in Washington, D.C. and delegates will need to make their own booking. The  administrative fee as listed above will cover breakfast, lunch, and ground transportation during the trip. Prior to the trip, delegates will be expected to participate in Doorknock briefing and planning meetings at the AmCham HK office. Please submit by  April 15 ,  2016 (Friday) .
