China Outlook 2016: Business Opportunities and Challenges
5:00 – 7:30pm. KPMG's Global China Practice (GCP) recently published China Outlook 2016 , a report that finds China's inward and outward investment patterns reflects the country's economic restructuring, and that this is likely to continue to be the case in 2016 and beyond. The report also analyses China's transition from an investment- and export-led growth model to one driven by consumption and innovation , which has led to the emergence of a two-track economy. The first track, in basic manufacturing and traditional industries, is experiencing significant headwinds, while the second, in services, advanced manufacturing and consumer markets is exhibiting strong growth potential.
At this briefing, Thomas Stanley, Chief Operating Officer for KPMG's Global China Practice, will share with you how to survive and thrive in China's 'new normal', and adapt to changes in the business environment and national development priorities. 17:00 – 17:15 Registration 17:15 – 18:15 Presentation & Q&A 18:15 – 19:30 Networking drinks Co-hosted by:
