Jeh Johnson served as U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security from 2013-2017, a cabinet level position which included counterterrorism, cybersecurity, border security, and administration of U.S. immigration laws. While in office, Secretary Johnson also had numerous diplomatic engagements with the senior-most officials of the Chinese government and other Asian leaders. Secretary Johnson has served as the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Defense. He has re-joined Paul, Weiss, where he began as a lawyer in 1984, in January 2017.
