We stand at the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a technological revolution that will fundamentally alter how we live, work and relate to one another. In all aspects, this transformation will supersede anything that has come before it. We do not yet know how the transformation will unfold, but we do know that we must be ready to respond in comprehensive, integrated and news ways. This is why innovation is so critically important. But what is innovation and, more importantly, how do we support our children in learning how to be innovative? More than just new inventions, innovation is about using new and current resources in new and different ways. It's about keeping up with the times, while making sure you are one step ahead of the pack. It's about doing something better than it's already being done.
AmCham invites you to join us and meet Lloyd Nimetz, the Founder of The Spike Lab. Through presentation and Q&A, you will learn how The Spike Lab helps kids discover their passions, create meaningful projects and learn lifelong innovation skills. Through The Spike Lab's unique coaching model, students gain an edge, in college admissions and in developing lifelong skills and expertise. Focusing on critical 21st century skills including planning, problem solving, communications, networking, perseverance and curiosity, The Spike Lab ensures that today's students have the skills they need to succeed in tomorrow's workforce.

About The Spike Lab
The Spike Lab is devoted to helping students across the world find their passions and develop exciting projects ("Spikes") that build on those passions using modern entrepreneurial strategies. Founded in 2016, The Spike Lab has students from both the U.S. and abroad who have already been admitted to numerous top U.S. universities. More importantly, they have developed the necessary innovation skills to help them succeed in the modern world, through high school, college and their careers after.
