John Dunavant, who is responsible for the company's global vehicle fleet, will discuss the evolution of electric and autonomous vehicles, enhancements in last-mile delivery services, and how these technologies are shaping the future of the workforce at FedEx.

    John G. Dunavant, Vice President Global Vehicles, has been with FedEx since 1980. His current organization is responsible for over 100,000 pieces of motorized and non-motorized equipment used by FedEx Express around the globe. John has over 38 years of experience with FedEx, including 33 years in a management capacity. During his tenure, he has held positions ranging from Managing Director of Command and Control for Global Air Operations, Vice President of the Memphis World Hub, and Vice President for Field Operations. John has received FEDEX’s highest honor, the prestigious “5 Star” award on six different occasions. This award recognizes the highest award of individual achievement at the company.

    John is also active in his home town of Memphis, Tennessee where he currently sits on the Board of Directors for Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM) a non-profit organization with a focus of coaching, growing, and leading inner city youth in the area. He also serves on the Liberty Bowl Association, which hosts one of the oldest college football bowl games each year in Memphis.

    John holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and has an MBA from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He has three adult children recently became a grandfather.
