Britons go to the polls – again. As the dust settles, what will the outcome mean for Brexit and beyond?

The UK holds its 3rd general election in 4 years on Dec 12, hoping to break the stalemate over Brexit. Whatever the result – hard exit, remain or yet more paralysis – the ramifications spread far beyond Perfidious Albion's shores. The world's 5th largest economy crashing out of the world's biggest trading bloc; uncertainty over trade and investment regime; questions around the future of London as a global financial and investment hub. Not to mention the impact on savings, pensions and plum postings to the City.

Philip Cowley, an election expert analyst, shares the key takeaways from the election results. Nataxis Chief Economist Alicia García Herrero joins him, and gives her prognosis on the post-Brexit investment outlook.
