This past summer has been one of unrest and turmoil for Hong Kong. Employers face difficult internal tasks in many areas, from prioritizing staff safety to addressing tensions between different political views in the office, especially with staff who participate in demonstrations and face their own legal issues. Some businesses also face external pressure from clients and customers. Dealing with these matters can raise legal issues that must be balanced with staff well-being.
Join us for a discussion led by Dr. Hui Lung Kit, Specialist in Psychiatry with Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital, and Jennifer Van Dale, partner and head of the employment law practice at Eversheds Sutherland. We will focus on both the legal issues employers face as well as what employers can do to support staff well-being.
As this event involves peer-to-peer sharing and brainstorming, it will be closed to the media. The Chatham House Rule applies.
